Just a note about pingbacks

If you decide to post a link to a post in this journal, please be aware that I will get a notice even if you f-lock the entry. I've been searching comm settings to see if I could turn this off to protect your privacy until LJ fixes the part that breaks the privacy of f-lock but I can't find such a setting for a community. If you're curious what these notices look like, my friend colls has unscreened some over at her journal here:

The first and last comments are examples of the pingbacks. You're always welcome to link to me, to rant about me**, whatever floats your boat but you should be aware that I'll probably get a notice, even if you've locked me out of your post.
