Oh man, #31 is a total accident. I played and played and played and played with that. I couldn't re-create that if my life depended on it but I SO wanted to use that Janet cap. She's so pretty and she's so *human* in that moment.
Those skin tones are part of my current lack of icon-fu. I just can't decide if I like them. They seem so artificial to my eye but I can't make them look "natural" to me. I think in a page of them, they look normalized but by themselves they look a bit wonky to me. But it could be I'm just out of the groove. *shrug*
I'm pleased with the b/w icons. You've pegged it that I'm exploring it. I like the drama of the b/w and contrast. I've been learning how to use the levels adjustment to perfect b/w (to my eye) and I love what it does for the character. It isolates him without looking plain. It's minimalist without straying into boring.
