OMG, I love you so hard. I started the scientist icon project years ago and one of the reasons it took me forever and a day was because of exactly this sort of thing: should I icon Watson and Crick, the jerks, but not Franklin? Nobody is going to know who she is (grrrr) but it's WRONG to icon the guys who got all the glory and not the woman whose pioneering work made theirs possible. I eventually planned to include her for completeist/right reasons but after I made some icons, I stalled (publicity photos are *hard* -- they're so visually boring), and then a HD crash took all those lovely caps. All of which is no good excuse for having the boys and not Ms. Franklin.

I am just so thrilled that anyone else knows who she is!!!
