You know how I feel about 66. <3 And I was debating on whether to use 113 or 115 for my default. 113 is pretty spot on for how I feel lately, but that's so grim. Hehe.

I love many of the SPN ones. 5 is particularly crisp and lovely.

Believe it or not, I think he's reached the too-buff stage for me. Michael Shanks did that as well. I like muscle, just not over-muscle. Those images, though? He doesn't look...he looks...'scuse me for a minute.

I'm trying real hard to not let the crappiness outweigh the good stuff (hence the former happy cupcakes default), but sometimes...I hate everything.

I do believe it because I'm right there with you. My preferred type is long and lean and a bit rangy. More lean RDA than muscle-y CJ. This is why Misha fits me so well. (Stops a moment to perv on that thought.) The actress who played the final Lillith made a comment about being intimidated by Jared's *thigh* because it was so muscle-y and I totally got that. He was too built up. Maybe he still is but when he's all stretched out like in that clip? HOLY MOTHER OF GOD. I'll be in my bunk.

I don't blame you. Sometimes, everything's worth hating. *hugs you*

My pet theory is that the bulk up was fully intentional - Sam as a character preparing physically for a fight that would actually be far more mental. The physical he could control, and control is a bugaboo for Sam. Plus, showing his progression from incredibly reluctant puppy to massive, intimidating guard dog was very much in line with his part of the story.

I've been spoiled by other promo stills and I think he looks less hulk-smash. We'll find out on Friday!

Oh, now I like that hypothesis. It works very nicely for the characterization. I never thought of it that way and you've made me very happy! :D

I have to admit that until I saw this clip, I didn't pay much attention to his musculature. It normally looks odd when he's clothed because it causes his clothes to fit a little funny compared to "normal" humans' clothes. But now I'm going to have to go back to the photos and look again. Darn my terrible luck. *put upon sigh*
