If you snag any icons by xafirah, please be certain to credit her!
I'm sure you want to check out more of xafirah's work, y/y? She has a lovely, new icon journal here: cato_neimoidia. If you haven't seen her work previously, you're in for a treat.
There's so much I want to write and I don't know what to begin with... First of all - thank you for... well, everything! Beginning with agreeing to an icon battle, choosing fantastic caps, posting the results in your journal and generally being very kind to me. The halo userhead is from me :) You totally deserve it and Castiel approves.
Now to the icons... They're all great (I didn't expect otherwise). My favourite icons of yours are: 14 (perfect everything), 15 (best coloring of all of them, great choice of font), 24 (I love font & text! I think this icon and my version of it are great example of our colouring differences - my icons are more pink and yours are more yellow. When I made Crowley icon I was quite happy with my coloring and when I saw yours... my jaw fell on the floor ;)). I had most problems with 18 - it was very dark and it didn't look good when I tried to lighten it up. I don't know how you managed to make it so bright and without any grainy spots. For me - it seemed impossible. 21 was also hard. I hate to icon sad faces/moments especially when I know someone in the cap is dying. Your icon has lots of emotions in it - I love it. I didn't know what to do with 25 either. Especially I hated the Impala in the back. I don't know why, but it (she?) looks too white on any icons I make (see 6 too). It's probably because of sunlight but it looks a bit weird to me.
I'm still laughing at 6 - Dean's facial expression. And Sam's giant jaw :D. Sorry for choosing this screencap - I seriously thought it would be good for "negative space", not close crops ;).

Date: 2010-10-17 01:09 pm (UTC)The black and white ones from each of you are outstanding.
Supernatural caps are so difficult and you make them look easy.
Awesome!
