If you snag any icons by xafirah, please be certain to credit her!
I'm sure you want to check out more of xafirah's work, y/y? She has a lovely, new icon journal here: cato_neimoidia. If you haven't seen her work previously, you're in for a treat.
*HUGS YOU TIGHTLY* I happen to think you're pretty damned awesome. Thank you so much for my HaloHead, bb. As I said, it's VERY appropriate given my obsession interests.
While you're liking my entries, I loving yours! I noticed, too, that my icons have more yellow. I like both colorings. Mine tend to the yellow because of my love for warm colors. I think your coloring lends itself especially well to ethereal icons like 7. I like the delicate look you got for Lilith and her nearly ghostly hair is particularly well done.
OOOH! I see that you just posted in your graphics LJ. I'm going to give my feedback on your icons there so that it's part of your journal.
18 - I was hating myself for choosing that cap. I got the lighting through multiple layers of curves and levels. You might have struggled with the lighting but I LOVE what you did with that cap. More on that at your journal. :)
21 - I was actually tearing up working on that cap. I loved Jo and Eleen so much; that scene tears my heart out every.single.time.
25 - The light on the Impala was off. I kept trying to darken the blacks to bring her out before I had to accept that it didn't have any blacks.
24 - Whereas I was admiring YOUR coloring & lighting! I think half the time the pleasure is in seeing what someone else's creativity comes up with.
6 - No apologies! I inflicted you with #21. It WAS a tough cap for me. It's no accident that I ended up with a boring, b/w simple crop. I started up trying to add negative space but I never came up with anything I liked. *shakes head* It's worth the challenge, though. I like being forced out of comfort zone, no matter how much I whine. ;-)
