Notes: Continuing from my last post, I'm experimenting with color and now looking, tentatively, into a more interesting composition. I've cropped Castiel's face in just about every way it can be so continuing on as usual is pointless. I'm still searching for a different style that works for me. I might have made too many icons from the new Misha photo and too many ~~Jensen~~ Ben icons from Dark Angel. Oops?

Months ago I promised

immlass that I'd make her a bunch of icons from Inception, with particular attention paid to Cillian Murphy for her pb use. I'm finally starting to fill that promise. However, I get bored when iconning the same face over and over without break so I started getting creative with textures and colors on a couple. I've included the standard version from before I started messing with it for

immlass as judging by other pb icons, the point isn't to be arty but to have a clear emotion.

Pride & Prejudice. I'm on the third disc but I find this part of the story depressing and I couldn't stand it any longer. I jumped ahead to some happier times so this is just a small, motley collection.

Indeed. I'm in love with bright, saturated, happy colors right now. I think it's in response to the piles of inky dark SPN icons I've made.

Ha! I knew I couldn't be the only one who had Gabriel flashbacks when Cas snapped. :D I'm glad the batch appeals. Since I'm experimenting a bunch, it's good to know if something does or doesn't work.

The close crops in so many of the Inception icons are wonderful, esp. 171 and 185!

very nice. just curious what photo ur personal icon is from and where #71-75 of misha are from

My personal, default icon is made from a royalty free gif that I found online eons ago (7+ years counts as eons online, right?). At the time, I didn't know about saving graphics with info about where I got them so, sadly, I can't tell you the exact site. :(

I've just started re-watching Dark Angel again (1st time in a couple of years) so I'm going to snaffle a couple of those. Decisions, decisions! I also love 179 & 191 from Inception, so consider those snaffled, too. Will credit if used, etc. Thank you very much. <3

It's my pleasure, I assure you. These icons were "inspired" by rewatching Pollo Loco recently as my BFF wanted to see Jensen's other roles. I didn't mean to make almost nothing but Jensen icons but he's soooo pretty as bad-boy Ben. *happy sigh*
