It has been a really long time since I made icons -- nearly a year since I'd spent time with Photoshop. This set is a departure for me: no SG-1. Playing in non-Stargate fandoms opens a whole new world of composition. SG-1, for all of the fandom's pairing wars, is mostly a gen show. There are precious few hugs and kisses in its 10 years.

Buffy, Angel, and Queer as Folk? Lots of clenches. Lots of smoldering sexual tension. Figuring out how to crop a couple? Not intuitively obvious for me. As if that isn't enough of a challenge, Buffy and Angel are dimly lit on a good day while QaF has wicked coloring issues. I'm not entirely happy with my results but they were a good exercise in correcting color & lighting and playing with skin tones. In other words, this is a highly experimental set for me. Constructive criticism would be VERY welcome.
