My apologies to those who kindly commented on my posts but whom I never answered; I haven't been up to even the thinnest veneer of social niceties for quite a while. Real life sucked and then sucked in new and creative ways for a long time. Either life isn't so bad now or I've adapted. I like to think it's the former. I'm watching SPN Season 9 after having missed most of 8 and the Photoshop bug has bitten me hard. Not sure that I'm up to extended commenting yet so should you want to save/use any of these, don't feel obligated to comment.

Turns out when you don't open Photoshop for more than a year, you forget a lot. Thank you to the people who choose caps for challenges; I leaned heavily on your work as I limped through breaking back into iconning. As is my wont, these are simple composition icons -- mostly very pretty faces.

Oh man, those P&P icons were made years ago. Maybe 2011? They even have the old Scrapbook URLs. In the intervening time, I lost my caps, my Photoshop, all my PSDs...everything. (Seems like a hard drive death should be more...spectacular given the destruction they leave in their wake.) I have no memory of how I used to do outdoor colorings for P&P so it'll probably be a long while before I make more. That bites since I haven't yet gotten to the happy part.

CHARLIE! I adore her! When I heard the rumors of an SPN spin-off, I had great hopes it would be the Charlie Show. She could hunt demons with her angel pals (Charlie's Angels!) and be fabulous and geeky and all around amazing. Alas, I was way off base.

I live in hope that they'll work out something to get Felicia Day on a more frequent basis. She breathes new life and story possibilities into Show.
